Welcome to HYDRAjet, the world leader in the development
and manufacturing of ultrahigh-pressure (HP) waterjet systems. Hydrajet, an American company, uses the most innovative technology
available for its tables, controllers, and pumps. The Hydrajet cutting table is composed completely of stainless steel with
a satin finish to prevent any rusting on the machine. The Hydrajet
controller is manufactured by CMC (Cleveland Motion Control.) The Burny 10 LCD plus is the most advanced CMC controller on
the market - nationwide. The CMC Burny is extremely user friendly with a full touch screen - making it easier and faster for
you to manage the job.
The HydraJet HP (High-pressure)
pump is manufactured by KMT formally known as Ingersoll-Rand (IR) which is the leader of HP pumps worldwide.
If you are looking to increase your profit margin with a minimal investment,
our cutting systems will open new doors for you. the HYDRAjet Cutting System is a natural addition to your existing business’s
capabilities. Learn more about the benefits of our waterjet systems.
Why should I use HYDRAjet cutting systems?
Waterjet technology allows for a versatile, environmentally clean cutting
system. Its ability to cut almost any material and its lack of impact on these materials is making waterjet machining a tool
of choice in industrial cutting processes.
How
does waterjet technology work?
Using
hydraulic intensification, water is pressurized to 60,000 psi and then forced through a small orifice in the cutting head.
Abrasive is then mixed with the water, and exits the nozzle in a high pressure stream of about 1.5 times the speed of sound.
Through a combination of micro-erosion (grinding) and a shear yielding of the material, a narrow section of material (called
the kerf) is removed all the way through the thickness. Virtually any material can be cut using waterjet technology, from
marble and steel to delicate pastry.
What
are the benefits of HYDRAjet cutting systems?
• Versatility – Waterjet cutting machines from HYDRAjet cut most materials, including
marble, metals, plastics, stone, glass, foam, rubber and ceramics. No heat is generated and your materials meet no work induced
stress. Therefore almost any material is suitable for waterjet cutting.
•
Productivity
- Waterjet allows stacking of materials, and cuts a variety of thicknesses, adding productivity to the cutting process
• Efficiency - The waterjet cutting process yields a high quality finish on most materials,
and eliminates most post-process finishing.
•
Collaborator
- Waterjet cutting can be used in conjunction with other processes in fabrication and machining.
Use waterjet as a power partner
with your other machinery and extend the thickness range when cutting conventional materials, such as stainless steel.
• Ecological - The waterjet cutting process involves no chemicals, gases or noxious
liquids. Abrasive waterjet cutting uses garnet (a high grade sand) as the abrasive. This creates a very clean process, preferable
to other methods of cutting in terms of environmental impact, eliminating disposal of by-products and waste water. There is
no dust created when cutting stone with waterjet technology, thus providing a safer work environment for those using waterjet
to cut stone inlays and countertops.
